No. “They All SUCK!” is NOT a movie. Well, at least not one that I know of and not one that I would write about either. I say they all suck because I just don’t have a pick for this week. Hence, they all suck! Then why the hell am I wasting your time, right? Because you depend on me and I love you; that’s why!

Your choices for the week are Solitary Man, Best Worst Movie, After the Cup, Racing Dreams, John Rabe and Holly Rollers. I will admit that I am partially interested in After the Cup, but being an Israeli documentary it will not be available to many of you.

However, all is not lost. Next week, Monday the 31st, we will have a long 3-day weekend in observance of Memorial Day (USA). Not only that, but Sex and the City 2 will be released on Friday the 28th leading into the holiday weekend and fellas, you know that your girlfriend/wife will want to go see it.

  For the fellas- The Godfather I

  The Godfather is a crime film based on the novel of the same name by Mario Puzo and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, with screenplay by Puzo and Coppola. The film stars Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton and James Caan. The story spans ten years from late 1945 to 1955 and chronicles the life of the Corleone crime family.

  Go get yourself a copy of the Godfather trilogy. If you can’t get ahold of the whole thing then at the very least get ahold of Godfather I, arguably the best movie ever made. Your woman is likely to make you take her to watch Sex and the City 2 next week and this will give you the opportunity to watch a man’s film! Something with cursing, sex, violence and a few good life lessons.

  For the ladies- Sex and the City: The Movie

  Sex and the City: The Movie is an adaptation of the hit HBO television series of the same name. The film will continue four years after the series ended with the stories of the four main characters (Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda) and their lives in Manhattan.

  Pop in a copy of Sex in the City: The Movie and watch it again in preparation for part 2. But wait until your boyfriend/husband is out of the room. Don’t torture him by having to watch it every day for the next week! In part one you see Carrie and Big finally get married with a whole lot of drama in the middle. Part 2 picks up right where that left off and is sure to be another fun and drama filled movie. Truth be told, I’ll likely be taking my own fiance to watch it too.
